New Fangold Video Shows Off Card Distribution

Today, Potato Killer Studio revealed the manner in which cards are distributed in a video of their upcoming online card game, Fangold. Embedded below, the video may be the first real look we get at the playfield used for the competitive card game. At this point, I am a bit confused about how it all works. I haven't quite seen anything like it before, with three depressions that appear to hold cards, but are significantly larger than any of the cards. Five elemental tiles sit behind them, appearing to be buttons of some sort.
The distribution of cards, however, is fairly simple. Four cards are drawn by each player at the beginning of the turn. You are allowed to exchange cards multiple times, but this will come at the cost of losing a card for every exchange after the first. The player that goes second will be given a "mana card" that provides more mana for a single turn. One mana will be provided if played during the first through third turns. Two mana will be provided if played during the fourth through sixth turns. Three mana will be provided if played on or after the seventh turn.
For more information, head to the official website. The team plan to post a video explaining attacks, spells, and the card layout next week.
