Nakwon: Last Paradise Is A New Zombie Survival Extraction Game In Pre-Alpha Testing

Extraction games have quickly replaced battle royales and survival crafting sandboxes as the most popular video game genre and every other studio wants a piece of the pie. Case in point is Dave the Diver developer MINTROCKET who’s announced its own take on the PvPvE subgenre – Nakwon: Last Paradise.
The game is set in a zombie-infested rendition of Seoul, South Korea and promises a unique blend of survival extraction, stealth, and simulation mechanics that offers a taste of “post-apocalyptic life.” Players will need to scavenge for valuable items and resources to not only survive but to also make money for equipment and rent.
While out on supply runs, you’ll need to avoid the keen-eared undead that roam among the once-bustling city’s ruined buildings and shadowy streets, which is where the stealth mechanics come in. You’ll also need to make it back to Safety Zone alive if you want to keep your hard-earned loot. The game is essentially a cross between Dying Light and Splinter Cell, without the parkour and high-tech gadgets.
Nakwon: Last Paradise is currently in pre-alpha testing and is still taking sign-ups via its Steam page if you’re interested. No launch window has been announced as of yet. It’s also unclear whether it’s a full-fledged open-world MMO or a multiplayer game. It’s listed as having both online co-op and online PvP though, so probably the latter.
