It’s business as usual for Myth of Empires amid allegations of copyright infringement and an ongoing lawsuit. Following the release of the standalone International Vanguard Edition earlier this month, developer Angela Game is now planning to open seasonal progression servers in April.

The new season servers will only be open for three months at a time and will feature faster progression and quicker access to endgame content and PvP. To up the challenge and encourage PvP, safe havens will not be available in the new servers.

“Myth of Empires ‘season servers’ refer to new servers that will be opened for players to more fully experience game content. These servers will feature higher growth rates and new season rules. There will also be a scoring system, increasing player competition. Additionally, the game will feature a new gameplay mode with corresponding seasonal rewards.”

As with traditional progression servers, Myth of Empires’ upcoming season servers will be separate from the current ones and will not be connected to the Guild Market system of the main game. Players who create characters on the new servers will be starting from scratch and will not be allowed to transfer their characters to the normal servers once the season servers have run their course.

Stay tuned for the season servers’ exact launch schedules. You can also head over to the Myth of Empires official site for more info.
