Mortal Online 2 Publishes December – January Development Roadmap
Star Vault has a whole lot of things planned for Mortal Online 2 over the next two months based on the studio’s December 2020 to January 2021 roadmap for the Mortal Online reboot/sequel.
“Mortal Online 2 has finally entered closed Beta. Now that we've achieved a stable foundation, we will begin adding a variety of exciting core features to the game as we head towards our upcoming Persistent Beta.”
New features coming in mid-December include new areas, visible weapon resources, along with cooking and alchemy. Towards the end of the month, closed beta players will see more world expansion, combat AI for PvE, and NPC guards. The team will also be working on polishing the game throughout the month of December.
Mid-January will see bow crafting, more weather types, additional hairstyles and beards, and an Unreal Engine upgrade. The end of January update will introduce the Risars as a playable race, a new dungeon, the first iteration of a guild system, and basic character customization.
Star Vault also teased several features that are still in-development such as magic, mounts and taming, thievery, all Clade gifts, the auction house, more creatures, additional character customization options, and the gore system.
Closed Beta signups are still open on the official site. Keys are limited so if you’re interested now’s the time to pick one up.
