Mortal Online 2 Extend Stress Test While They Fix Bottlenecking And Other Issues

mortal online 2 sword bannerParticipants of the ongoing Mortal Online 2 stress test have managed to push the game’s servers to its limits exposing several key bottlenecks and issues. These issues resulted in long queue times, queue timeouts, and desync problems over the past four days. According to developer Star Vault, the issues were caused by overloaded database and servers along with a faulty queue system.

In light of the newly-discovered issues, Star Vault will be extending the stress test for a few more days while they work on fixing the issues, optimizing the server, and generally refining the entire system.

“An enormous amount of players have been blasting our server over the past few days, which has allowed us to collect a huge amount of data, giving us a very clear picture of what we need to work on in order to improve our systems for early access,” wrote Star Vault on Discord. “Thank you all for helping us make Mortal Online 2 be the best game it can be, as well as being a part of this crucial step towards the release.”

It’s clearly a win-win situation for both the beta participants and the developers. Beta participants can get to try out the game for a bit longer while the developers will get to instantly see the result of their work and gather feedback at the same time.
