Marauders Is A Hardcore Looter Shooter Coming To Steam And Game Pass Later This Year

It’s looking to be a busy year for Team17 as the British indie developer and publisher follows up its Ship of Fools reveal last week with another game announcement. This time around, we’re looking at a new first-person multiplayer looter shooter called Marauders that’s being developed by UK-based indie studio Small Impact Games.

“Set in an early-1990s dieselpunk alternate future, Marauders will see players step into the boots of a roving space pirate to explore and breach hostile spaceships; salvage valuable loot, including an arsenal of iconic weapons from the last century; and do battle with other players and AI enemies in tense multiplayer combat.”

Players will be able to take on hostile threats by themselves or with a crew of up to four players. They’ll also have access to a variety of upgradable and modifiable weapons and gear that they can customize before every match. Those who make it back in one piece will be rewarded with resources that they can use to upgrade their ship or sell to earn in-game currency.

Marauders will be launching on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview later this year. You’ll find the official announcement trailer right after the jump.
