As you’d expect from a big game-changing update, Lord of the Rings Online Update 37’s launch arrived with its fair share off issues. Players apparently weren’t exaggerating when they complained that their characters were significantly weaker after the stat crunch as the update inadvertently made mobs a bit too tough and nerfed healing too much.

The team has promised a hotfix that’s expected to arrive next week. They’re also currently trying to sort out issues with the Combe Forester crafting event which was supposed to launch today but has now been pushed back to mid-September due to a last-minute desync issue.

“There is an issue where the event can get out of synch at the moment. When this happens it is prematurely entering the cooldown state and driving the event to fail,” Standing Stone Games reported. “We are working on the fix and will set the event back to on when we have ironed out the issues.”

We’ll keep you posted on any updates. In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy Update 37’s new River Hobbits race and Lindelby housing system, assuming of course that you’re willing to throw money into the game.
