Lord of the Rings Online Reports Highest Player Count Since 2016
Lord of the Rings Online, which launched in 2007, is definitely an oldie, but it's far from dead. In fact, the game's owner, Enad Global 7 (which owns Standing Stone Games), announced just a few days ago that Lord of the Rings Online had its highest player count since 2016 when it celebrated its 15-year anniversary earlier in the year.
Besides the game's continued commercial success, Lord of the Rings Online continues to get updated regularly. A new mini expansion was announced just a few days ago!
Lord of the Rings Online will also likely see a bump in playerbase once Amazon's new Lord of the Rings TV series 'Rings of Power' airs next month.
