Lord of the Rings Online’s Ill Omens Event Returns With New And Adjusted Rewards

Lord of the Rings Online brings back its Ill Omens skirmish event with its first update of the year – Update 38.2. The event is now live and challenges players to defeat a set number of “harbingers” per day to earn Tokens of Ill Omens until February 1.

The said tokens can be used to purchase event-exclusive pets, including the new Ill Omened Crab, Ill Omened Jackal, and Ill Omened Snake vanity pets. Do note that the rewards for the event have been adjusted to account for the recent level cap increase to 150 and the wrapper quest will now reward players with an Ill Omens Treasury Package instead of the traditional Positive Portent Barter Token.

Update 38.2 also removed XP rewards from the ongoing Combe Forester Event, made the port city of Umbar a whole lot safer for low-level players, balanced food regeneration rates, and improved hat hair visuals for humans.
