The Lord Of The Rings Online Is Ending Support For MacOS Client
Standing Stone Games has announced that it will be ceasing all MacOS support for Lord of the Rings Online starting on August 25th.
“For several years players have been able to play The Lord of the Rings Online in pre-Catalina versions of MacOS with limited support from Standing Stone Games, but we will soon be formally deprecating the MacOS client.”
Following the deprecation, players will still be able to download the MacOS client but will need to use a dual boot setup for Windows to play the game. Customer support for Mac users will also end alongside the retirement of the Mac client.
