Lord Of The Rings Online: Corsairs Of Umbar Will Be Getting New Content Next Month

When Lord of the Rings Online: Corsairs of Umbar launched earlier this month, it quickly became obvious that the expansion was severely lacking in content outside of the main story quests. To address this, Standing Stone Games has promised to release new endgame and repeatable content with a big update arriving on December 6th.

The update will introduce dozens of new quests and new missions all across the region. “These missions award Allegiance Tokens for both the Order of the Eagle and the Ledger-keepers, as well as Modest Gifts of Ûri to level up your preferred allegiance,” the studio said. The team will also be bumping up the max Allegiance tier from 10 to 20 and will be bringing back the Combe Forester event, hopefully with none of the issues from its previous run.

Further down the line, players can expect Corsairs of Umbar instances and raid at the turn of the year along with another bump to Allegiance tiers. If you’ve already breezed through the expansion quests, don’t hang up your traveling cloak just yet as there are new legendary and season rewards for you to unlock while waiting for next month’s update.
