Lord Of The Rings Online Celebrates Its 13th Anniversary With Free Gifts And A New Update
Lord of the Rings Online has just turned thirteen years old today and is celebrating by giving out gifts to all its Premium and VIP players. The gifts you receive will depend on your account’s status and will include a character portrait frame that shows how many years your account has been active. Accounts that have been active for a year will also get fireworks while 13-year veterans will get a Mysterious Celebration Pig cosmetic pet and the title “Baker’s Dozen.”
“LOTRO's 13th Anniversary is here and we want you to be a part of our celebration! We would like to extend a gift as our way of saying thank you for joining us on our journey over the past thirteen years! During the Anniversary Festival, which runs from April 23rd through May 20th, Premium and VIP players will be eligible to receive gifts based on their account status* as of 10:00 AM EDT on April 23rd, 2020. All active players will be able to participate in our Anniversary festivities for their chance to earn rewards!”
The anniversary event launches alongside Update 26: Mists of Wilderland. The update brings with it the new Wells of Langflood zone and its accompanying quests and kicks off The Legacy of Durin and Trials of the Dwarves storyline. The new Ques Pack, including raids and instances, will be available for free until April 30th.
