Lord Of The Rings Online’s Brings Back ‘Dwayne’ The Rock As A New House Decor

If you’ve been actively playing Lord of the Rings Online over the past few months, you’ll probably remember the giant boulder that a developer accidentally plopped in the middle of the Greenway road in Bree-land. The boulder, which players fondly named Dwayne Johnson, became an instant sensation (and a meme) with players even going on pilgrimages to see it and holding musical performances, cookouts, and parties on top of it.

There were even petitions for Standing Stone Games to keep the rock where it was, which unfortunately wasn’t an option since it was blocking horse routes through the area. The team took Dwayne Johnson out a few weeks later to the disappointment of its fans with a promise that they’ll find a way to pay homage to “The Rock” and immortalize it in the game in some form.

Standing Stone Games is now making good on its promise with the addition of the Memorial Great Greenway Rock house decoration in an upcoming patch. The new décor will fit in housing yard slots and is now available for testing on the Bullroarer server as spotted by Buttertart.
