Standing Stone Games has finally found a possible solution to Lord of the Rings Online’s notorious lag issues. Upon investigation earlier this month, Executive Producer Rob Ciccolini said that they found two major causes of lag in the game and will be working on a fix to address the ongoing issues once and for all.

The said fix, or at least part of it, looks like it will be deployed with Update 36.0.2 later today as noted in the update release notes. Update 36.0.2 will also introduce small adjustments to the Warden class, fix a bug that prevented Tokens of Heroism from dropping in some instances, lower the Rohan introductory quest requirement to level 72, and allocate Delving NPCs across eight new skirmish camps.

The full patch notes can be found on the Lord of the Rings Online official site if you want to dive into the details.
