Lord of the Rings Online has arrived a little late to the 2024 roadmap party as Standing Stone Games outlines its plans for the 17-year-old MMORPG this year. The roadmap isn’t as beefy as last year’s in terms of content, but there’s still a few big things that players can look forward to over the next few months.

The first quarter of 2024 will bring the remaining Corsairs of Umbar instances and a 12-player raid that will mark the final content update for the expansion. Standing Stone will also be updating the Delving system with something called Epic Malices.

Q2 will feature a new collection of time-released quests and an unnamed new hobby, while Q3 promises the ability to choose a fourth crafting profession, a visual makeover for Elves, and PvP tier improvements. A “kinship refresh” is also being teased for later this year.

Of course, there’s also a new expansion that’s expected to launch sometime this fall. “We will release a new expansion pack that takes us east of Umbar Baharbêl visiting four new zones, encountering a new culture, exploring the waste and a vast complex that serves as the staging ground for the instances and raid included with the expansion pack,” teases the devs.
