Linkrealms Enters Early Access On May 19th

Believe it or not, Linkrealms has been in development for somewhere around twelve years. I've been told that the game's first tests went online in 2004. Since then, it's seen several Closed Beta tests, a brief Open Beta test, a relatively large media push in 2010, a complete paradigm shift or two, and some staffing changes. After all of that, however, it seems as if this Ultima Online-inspired indie sandbox may finally be making it to the finish line relatively soon, as it is entering Early Access on May 19th.
When Early Access launches, it will cost $19.99 to get in. During the first week, there will be a 25% discount applied. There will be two servers: a full loot, open PvP server and a PvE server.
Over the course of Early Access, the world will be expanded to include new biomes, dungeons, and events. New skills will also be introduced "with a focus on magic and crafting abilities."
Those who don't want to wait until Early Access begins can purchase a "Prince Founder Pack" from the official website and get access to a test server until the live servers go back online on May 19th.
