LeBron James Makes His Way To Fortnite, Aliens Turn Holly Hedges Into A Nursery

If there’s one thing that you can count on in Fortnite, it’s crossover events with whatever’s trending or popular at the moment. This time around, Space Jam: A New Legacy’s very own LeBron James will be making a guest appearance in the competitive shooter. The crossover event kicks of today just a few days before the animated movie comes out in theaters and HBO Max in the US on July 16.

The LeBron-themed outfits come in two separate cosmetic packs: the King James Gear and the Tune Squad LeBron bundles. The King James Gear Bundle includes LeBron’s pre and on-court outfit personas, the LeBron James Outfit and the King’s Back Bling while the Tune Squad LeBron pack contains the more casual the Tune Squad outfit and Taco Tuesday style Variant.

For those who aren’t into basketball, the latest hotfix adds a new inflatable cow balloon that can players can wear on their back called the Inflate-A-Bull. Do note that using the said contraption may attract Saucers to your location.

“With an Inflate-A-Bull on your back, inflate it to bounce or roll away from a dangerous situation. (Tip: Rolling downhill with an Inflate-A-Bull is a LOT faster than just running downhill.) You can also inflate it to squash a Parasite that’s attached to you, if you’re not looking for its help. The ‘Bull’ may attract the attention of Saucers when inflated, but its evasive advantages are worth it.”

Parasites have also taken over Holly Hedges and have turned the once upscale neighborhood into their breeding grounds called Holly Hatchery. “If you’re looking for a boost in speed or more pep in your step, this is a reliable place to get these Parasite-provided powers.
