JOYCITY Announces Pirates Of The Caribbean: Tides Of War

Remember the good old days when this is what Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean MMO looked like? Unfortunately, those days are gone, but game developer and publisher JOYCITY announced today that it will not only be launching a new mobile Pirates of the Caribbean MMO titled "Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War" sometime in the near future, but that global pre-registration has already begun. Those that pre-register will be given a gift of 2000 Gold once they reach Fortress Level 5 in-game.

So, what kind of game is Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War, exactly? I'll give you two good guesses. Nope, that's not it. Here, let me give you a hint.

That's right. It's a mobile MMORTS. You know, like Clash of Clans or Game of War: Fire Age. Players will build buildings and construct ships and form alliances to "battle against each other or defeat common monsters floating the sea." They will also encounter various Pirates of the Caribbean characters, like Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, and Will Turner, also known as "the only three Pirates of the Caribbean characters that most people know by name."
