Huayi Brothers Media Corporation Is Making A Movie Based On Onmyoji

NetEase's mobile RPG Onmyoji is insanely popular. It has topped app store charts in multiple countries, including the Top Free games charts and Top Grossing games charts. It was also confirmed to be headed West this past January.

As with many major gaming franchises these days, Onmyoji will be getting an officially-licensed movie. The movie will be created by Huayi Brothers Media Corporation and it is currently set to be released on National Day 2018, which, for those that don't know, is October 1st.

There are not many details about the movie at this time. All that we know thus far is that Chen Kun will be playing one of the game's playable characters, which you can see in the image below, courtesy of 17173.
