Heroes of the Storm Lt. Morales Spotlight

Blizzard Entertainment's Crossover MOBA, Heroes of the Storm, has recently released a video on YouTube that highlights their latest hero— Lt. Morales the Medic from Starcraft. Lt. Morales enters the battlefield as a ranged support healer, that brings no cooldown sustained healing to the table.

Below is a list of her abilities along with commentary:

(Trait) Caduceus Reactor: A passive self heal that regenerates when out of combat. Seems great for the laning phase to limit return trips and to remove reliance on Well usage.

(Q) Healing Beam: A no cooldown, no cast time sustained beam of healing that steadily restores health. This seems great for patching up allies or against teams that are higher on the sustained damage spectrum. At a glance it seems that it would fail against high burst teams. This however is offset by her next ability...

(W) Safeguard: Places a shield that reduces damage on the target. This is indeed her 'safeguard' which might be able to keep her viable in times that heavy burst is expected.

(E) Displacement Grenade: Lt. Morales chucks a grenade at a location that deals damage and knocks back. A great and well rounded utility ability that can be used for ganks and for peeling enemies from targets. Compared to other other abilities it seems the difficult will be a bit higher but since her other two abilities aren't so hard, she'll be able to focus mostly on placing this ability correctly.

(R1) Stim Drone: Summons a Stim Drone on a target giving them attack and movement speed. A basic, high impact steroid... always good.

(R2) Medivac Dropship: Definitely the ability that truly makes her shine. This ability allows her to quickly transport allies and herself across the map— an invaluable asset in a game that relies so much on objective control.
