Pearl Abyss used its annual Heidel Ball to outline what the rest of the summer looks like for Black Desert Mobile, the mobile adaptation of the long-running PC MMORPG. The studio detailed new regions, class options, and system revamps rolling out between late July and early September 2025, signaling a push to keep veteran players busy while giving newcomers a cleaner on-ramp.

Launched globally in 2019, Black Desert Mobile mirrors much of the PC version’s open-world sandbox but trims systems for shorter play sessions. The upcoming slate focuses on two pain points for mobile MMO communities: fresh endgame content and a healthier in-game economy. Here’s what to expect over the next few months:

  • July 22 – 2025 Summer Season
Players who complete the new season receive the Secrua Crystal, an appearance-slot item that starts at +50 AP/DP and can be upgraded to Eternal grade for extra item-drop rate bonuses.
  • August 5 – Land of the Morning Light: Seoul
A follow-up to last year’s Hwanghae Province update introduces the capital city, four additional Tale Collections, and three new Black Shrine bosses: Samsin, Bulgasal, and Uturi. These fights add a Tag System that lets you swap family characters mid-encounter.
  • August 5 – Martial God Tournament
Replaces existing PvP queues with Spar, Championship, and Duo modes while retaining core combat rules such as Super Armor and Grab Immunity. Pearl Abyss says offline tournaments will use the same rule set.
  • August 5 – New Class: Seonin
A yin-yang themed swordsman who shifts between elemental orbs for wide-area attacks. The class is built for both group farming and arena duels, expanding the roster’s magic-focused options.
  • August 12 – Atoraxxion: Sycrakea
The second co-op dungeon under the Atoraxxion banner drops parties into an underwater fortress with five stages of environmental hazards and a final boss, Centilutos. Rewards include Okiara’s Blessing and Noble Tear of the Goddess.
  • August 12 – Summer Getaway Outfit
A swimsuit-themed cosmetic set available for several classes, including the newly released Seonin and Deadeye.
  • August 19 – Twisted Nightmare: Capital
A large-scale PvEvP zone inside Seoul where adventurers clear monster waves, collect Nightmare Fragments, and square off against Bulgasal for Relic Memory Imprints.
  • September 9 – Merge Market
North America, Europe, and Asia marketplaces consolidate into a single economy. New tools such as price-trend graphs and purchase history aim to smooth out supply issues and curb regional price spikes.

With a new region, class, and cross-server market all hitting in quick succession, Pearl Abyss is clearly betting on active summer engagement to shore up Black Desert Mobile’s global player base. The unified Marketplace in particular should shorten queue times for rare items, a frequent criticism since launch.
