Extraction Shooter ‘HAWKED’ Launches Into Early Access On PC

HAWKED, My.Games first entry into the extraction shooter market, has officially launched into early access on Steam and the My.Games launcher. The colorful free-to-play title looks a lot like an Indiana Jones-inspired version of Fortnite minus the sky-bases and building mechanics.

In HAWKED, players are dropped into a mysterious island in search of ancient relics from a long-lost civilization. As with most extraction shooters, they’ll need to safely make it to the extraction point as they fight off monsters and other players if they want to keep their loot. The dynamic island “evolves” with every run, offering a unique experience and new challenges with each session.

“HAWKED is a free online PvPvE extraction shooter that drops you into X-Isle, a mysterious island where monsters covet the powerful relics of a lost civilization. Become a Renegade and squad up with pals to explore this new world as you battle monstrous Disciples, outwit other players, and escape with a bounty of ancient treasures!”

Players currently have access to two game modes: Treasure Hunt for groups of three players and Lone Hunter for those who prefer to go solo.

Treasure Hunt (Squads): Group up with fellow Renegades and compete with other teams for loot. Hunt down Glyphs and battle through hordes of Disciples in a hunt royale to extract hidden Artifacts.

Feeling daring? Switch off “No Fill” to test your skills against truly challenging odds by yourself or with an invited friend against groups of three.

Lone Hunter (Solo): Here’s one for those who prefer to work alone. It’s just you, your wits, and the dangers of X-Isle with Glyphs to hunt and Artifacts to find. Oh, and other lone-wolf Renegades—you’re not the only one with your eyes on the prize!

The game’s early access launch also marks the release of its first seasonal chapter, dubbed Issue #1: Renegades. Each season features its own storyline, a full set of seasonal quests and events, as well as free and paid battle passes with 60 levels of rewards to unlock, including outfits, weapon skins, backpacks, hoverboards, emotes, and avatars.

My. Games is also running a community invitation event called Renegade Rally that offers milestone rewards for reaching a certain number of sign-ups. Rewards include exclusive cosmetics, free subscription time, and a lifetime supply of premium currency for one lucky player.

HAWKED will also be making its way to consoles in early 2024.
