H1Z1 Producer's Letter: "Just Survive Isn't Dead. [...] We're Just Getting Started."

H1Z1: Just Survive's last patch didn't go so well. General Manager Landon Montgomery acknowledges this in the latest Producer's Letter and follows up by saying that the team is working to earn back the trust of the game's community. They've been using the Test server "heavily and repeatedly" to fix key issues with the last update.
The result is last Friday's patch. Lag, vehicle exploits, and base exploits have all been remedied. "Loot balance" has been altered. The "map teleport" exploit has also been fixed.
The patch comes with a full character and server wipe. Given the circumstances, it seems that it was necessary.
The Producer's Letter ends with Montgomery ensuring players that the team is dedicated to working on Just Survive. Supposedly, the team has big plans for 2017. He ends with the following statement: "Just Survive isn’t dead. Far from it. We’re just getting started."
