Honey I Shrunk The Kids MMORPG Grounded Officially Leaves Early Access

Obsidian Entertainment’s Honey I Shrunk the Kids- inspired multiplayer survival sandbox Grounded has just moved out of early access and into full release on Steam. The game’s Version 1.0 launch comes with a new story mode that reveals why the characters are so tiny, how they ended up in the backyard, and who shrunk them down to the size of bugs.
“As the story unfolds, you’ll expose the mysteries surrounding the backyard by traversing through areas, old and new. Venture forth and discover the secrets that will help you go big and go home!” Obsidian said.
The launch update also opens up the new Eastern Upper Yard area, complete with new resources to gather, a new tunnel system, and new oversized bugs and critters to deal with. There also new labs for players to discover while existing ones will feature surprise new changes.
Players can also expect several quality-of-life changes, including the addition of an accessory slot, the ability to Hot Deposit items to nearby storage containers, and improved inventory management, along with adjustments to the armor and weapon upgrade system.
You can check out the full Patch 1.0 release notes on the Grounded Steam page. There’s also a brand new trailer waiting for you down below.
