Gocco Of War Demo Now Available, Tiered Discounts For Downloads

Gocco of War is a pseudo-MMO shooter in which players join a persistent lobby and split off into groups to take part in various scenarios. It features a cutesy anime style, an absurdly large amount of gestures, and enough costumes that you shouldn't run into the same exact character twice. Up until now, it has been a $20, buy-to-play only title. Today, thanks to the way the game is structured, the developers at peakvox have released a demo.
The demo version allows you to play three quests, 20 recipes, and one lobby theme. The game's shop is disabled. Because of the limitations, demo players play on a different server than owners of the full game. You can, however, transfer your save data to the full version, should you decide to purchase it.
With the launch of the demo, the developers are doing something a bit different. They have launched a "Demo Download Campaign"—running from now until January 19th—in which they will unlock different discount levels for the full game based on how many times the demo is downloaded. The campaign starts with a 20% discount for 3000 downloads and goes up to a 50% discount, should the demo be downloaded 30,000 times. The image in question—embedded below—is called the "Demo Download Starter" and features three dots running off the bottom edge of the image, leading me to believe there are even more rewards in store if the demo manages to break 30,000 downloads.
