Gloria Victis Sold Over 30,000 Copies In Its First Month On Steam Early Access

In a new Steam Community update posted today, Gloria Victis developer Bartold revealed that the game sold over 30,000 copies during its first month on Early Access. Sales have been good enough that Black Eye Games has set up a proper office space and is looking to increase the size of its development team.
In the update, Bartold also talked a bit about plans for the future. The team wants to replace the current player models and use motion capture to increase the quality of the animations. Female characters are also in the works. Servers will continue to be optimized "until there is only a single server per supported region of the world." Siege engines, sailing, naval combat, mounts, mounted combat, housing, dynamic events, and more are also in the works.
Additionally, a new patch went out yesterday with various fixes and improvements to server stability. You can find the full set of patch notes here.
