Gloria Victis Improves Hit Detection And Reworks The Main Menu

A new update to Gloria Victis went live today, introducing "a completely reworked hits detection system." The revisions are intended to "[allow] players to better control the timing and distance when performing attacks." Various weapon types have also had their range adjusted, "therefore increasing a meaning of the proper movement and reactions."
The update also introduces a reworked main menu, which can be seen in the image above. It now includes "an animated artwork harmonizing with the recently added main theme."
Server performance saw some improvements during this update, as well, and the team is running a stress test today to ensure that the game is ready for its Steam release. For those that have access to the game, the stress test begins at 11 AM PST.
