Gaming Industry Veterans David Brevik And Bill Wang Announce New Publishing Studio Skystone Games

Gaming industry powerhouses David Brevik and Bill Wang have teamed up and formed a new publishing studio called Skystone Games. Brevik is best known as the creator of Diablo and co-founder of Blizzard North. He also served as CEO of Gazillion Entertainment while Bill Wang was the former General Manager General Manager of Global Investment and currently the CEO of Giant Games.

“We envision Skystone Games as a global developer and publisher of multiplatform video games, with the aim to provide creative guidance and global publishing services,” said CEO Bill Wang in the official press release. “We want to create a family-like environment that's fun and supportive - a place where every team member’s thoughts and ideas carry the same weight. Developers will share know-how and best practices across projects. When we collaborate in this way, everyone wins.”

“One of the biggest joys in this industry is uncovering hidden gems - projects that are absolutely special, but don’t ever really get the attention they deserve. That’s a problem we want to help solve,” said President David Brevik. “Our team has a proven track record of doing just that, and we want to shine a spotlight on the sort of talent that deserves to be recognized in a very crowded and competitive world.”

The new studio has also announced two upcoming games: Undying, a multi-platform zombie survival game with a unique twist from American developer Vanimals; and Spaceline Crew, a procedural-generated non-violent sci-fi roguelike from Brazilian studio Coffeenauts.
