Games Of Glory Open Beta Begins On April 25th

Lightbulb Crew announced today that its cross-platform top-down team shooter Games of Glory will be entering Open Beta on April 25th. The game has been through both Early Access and Closed Beta in recent times, but, when Open Beta begins, it will finally be available to the public for the foreseeable future.

Games of Glory is a top-down team shooter that is somewhat reminiscent of a MOBA. Players choose one of 15 clones, equip it with any of 50 weapons, and then go to battle in either 3v3 or 4v4 combat, taking control of capture points before inevitably aiming to destroy the opposing team's base. We recently played the game for Sunday Funday and found that, while it wasn't a bad game, it wasn't the most exciting game either.

Lightbulb Crew CEO and founder Anders Larsson had the following to say about the announcement.

With Games of Glory we have focused on developing an intense competitive arena experience where console- and PC players can battle it out against each other. Games of Glory has developed into a unique and fast-paced competitive experience that shooter and MOBA players will feel right at home with from day one.

Games of Glory will be available on both PC and PlayStation 4 on April 25th. In the meantime, more information can be found on the official website.
