Fractured Space Receives New Frontline Mode, More

Strike Suit Zero creators Edge Case Games have been hard at work on Fractured Space for quite some time now. The capital ship MOBA released in Early Access last year to warm reception. Despite this, and the company's consistent quality graphically, the game has flown relatively far under the radar as the developers slowly push the game towards release.
On October 22nd, a major update is planned. This update will include a new mode, Frontline, among other additions and changes. The Frontline mode is described as "high-speed, straight ahead fleet combat." Unlike other modes, Frontline will take place in a single lane. Players will be assigned random ships with a "Frontline Loadout" and can be assigned and ship in the game, regardless of what they have unlocked. If the timer reaches zero and a winner is not declared, the match enters Sudden Death mode and respawning is disabled.
The update will also include two new ships: the USR Displacer and the Zarek Overseer. The Displacer "takes control of the battlefield through direct manipulation of enemy positions." The Overseer is "a devastating long-range damage-dealer."
