Fractured Online Is Running A Free-Play Event And Founder Pack Sales This Weekend

If you’re on the fence about buying Fractured Online, Dynamight Studios is giving you the chance to try the early access sandbox MMORPG for free this weekend.

The free-play event will run from Thursday, March 7 to Monday, March 11 on both Steam and the dedicated launcher with the goal of encouraging more players to buy the game and generate more revenue for the indie studio now that they’re no longer being backed by Gamigo.

To that end, the studio is also giving away free permanent access keys through its Spread the Word & Win a Key campaign. For a chance to win a key, you’ll need to either describe and recommend Fractured Online on Discord, Reddit, or any other video game-related forum, or simply let a content creator know about the game. Alternatively, you can also write a blog post or make a video that elicits a positive reaction from the video game community.

Dynamight will be picking out the best entries every week and will be rewarding them with free game keys. All meaningful entries will also receive 1,000 Foundation Points that will go towards advancing their Foundation level to earn various in-game rewards.

“As we’ve always publicly disclosed, our financial means are quite limited since we’ve become independent, both in staff and in funding, which seriously restricts our ability to promote the game,” Dynamight Studios says. “This means we have to rely on the support of our community to grow Fractured Online… on YOUR support!”

If you’d rather just buy the game, Founder Packs are also on sale at 15% to 30% off depending on the pack that you’re purchasing. The discounts will remain in place until the free weekend event ends on Monday.
