Final Open Beta for Black Desert on Xbox Runs February 14 - 17

Black Desert Online officially launched in English on the PC back on March 3, 2016 and is finally making its way to Xbox on March 4, 2019. The game's final open beta begins on February 14 and runs until February 17. To celebrate the announcement and the upcoming launch, Pearl Abyss released a brand new trailer showing off the console version of the game:

Keep in mind that Black Desert on Xbox will not be cross play compatible with the PC version. The game has been completely revamped for console and actually features an improved story as well. The PC version has been a hit averaging over 13,000 players online at any given time on Steam alone.

While it's taken 3 years to get the game on Xbox, I suspect it'll do fairly well as the game's action oriented gameplay is a natural fit for a controller. I suspect we'll continue to see PC MMORPGs embrace consoles as 2019 progresses.
