Final Fantasy XI Rolls Out New Voracious Resurgence Quests And New Ambuscades

Final Fantasy XI has received its monthly dose of content today with the release of its January version update. As previously announced, the update brings with it a bunch of new content, including new story quests and new Ambuscade dungeons.

The update kicks off Chapter 10 of the Voracious Resurgence storyline which sets the stage for the saga’s ‘thrilling conclusion’ later this year. Note that before you can take on the new main story quests, you’ll need to have at least a Stage 2 Prime weapon as well as access to the Dynamis – Xarcabard zone.

In addition to the new main story quests, the update also arrived introduces this month’s new Ambuscade rotation which will again pit you against the game’s iconic moogles and flans.
