Fate/Grand Order NA Announces the Otakon 2017 & Orleans Special Campaigns!

Otakon 2017 is due to start this Friday, August 11th, 2017, and Fate/Grand Order will be hosting an event in celebration! Starting at 08/11 0400 UTC, until 08/13 0359 UTC, all players who log into Fate/Grand Order will receive 1,000,000 Quantum Particles (which sound like a lot, but believe me, it's nothing special), 1 Sun Fou card, 1 Star Fou card, and 1 Blaze of Wisdom (ALL) EXP card!

That's not the only thing players can receive, however. As the event is running for 3 days, players who log on each day during the Otakon 2017 Campaign will receive one free Summoning Ticket! And what better way to spend your Summoning Tickets...than with an event!

Actually this summoning event is really bad. Truth be told, I'd skip it entirely - you can get Kiyohime for free from Friend Points, and she's automatically gifted to the player upon completion of the Orleans chapter of Fate/Grand Order. Siegfried is by and large considered a "meh" servant, at best. The chance of getting a Kaleidoscope Craft Essence is tantalizing, but that's just about the only good thing you can get from it - and it seems that just about everyone and their mother has a Jeanne d'Arc in their party list already, and players can easily fill their Support slots with a friend's Jeanne.

Those are just my two thoughts as a Fate/Grand Order player on this current summoning campaign. The Otakon Event is great for players, but the servants you can acquire at this time aren't anything special.

Ultimately, however, Fate/Grand Order is what we'd like to call a "Waifu Collector," so if you enjoy Siegfried, d'Eon, Kiyohime, Jeanne d'Arc and Gilles de Rais - go for it, and good luck!
