Fade Joins Valorant’s Roster As The Popular Shooter’s Newest Initiator Agent

A new Agent has entered the competitive battlefields of Valorant with the release of Patch 4.08. Meet Fade, a new initiator that promises to be the Agent of your dreams, or your nightmares depending on which side you’re on.
“Turkish bounty hunter, Fade, unleashes the power of raw nightmares to seize enemy secrets. Attuned with terror itself, she hunts targets and reveals their deepest fears—before crushing them in the dark.”
Fade’s arsenal of nightmarish abilities uses the power of fear to trap her enemies, reveal their position, and nearsight them. Her ultimate sends out a wave of nightmare energy that can pass through walls creating a trail to enemies caught within it, deafening their audio, and dealing decay damage.
Patch 4.08 also reduces matchmaking time as well as Rank Rating gains and penalties by 25% for all ranks except 5-Stack Radiant. The patch also introduces another round of balance adjustment, this time focusing on Neon, Jett, and Sova. Neon has been buffed to make combat and movement more fluid while Sova gets a health and damage reduction and ninja-like Jett has had her Tailwind ability nerfed.
