Fable Legends Will Be Windows 10 Store Exclusive On PC

We all saw it coming but it is not exactly great news, nonetheless. Upcoming free-to-play co-op action RPG Fable Legends will be Windows 10 Store exclusive on PC. This was confirmed by Fable Legends' Social Media Coordinator on Twitter the other day. It seems that for now, at least, Microsoft wants to keep their own Windows 10 games on the Windows 10 Store.

You will remember that Microsoft made a similar bid with Windows 8's storefront—and Games For Windows Live, for that matter—but ultimately failed to draw users away from heavyweights like Steam. It will be interesting to see if this move has any effect on its potential playerbase in the coming months as the game approaches its Q4 2015 release date.
