Exploiting Overwatch's Lúcioball Bug May Get You In Trouble

Overwatch's Olympics minigame Lúcioball is suffering from a pretty big bug that allows players to switch their hero by spamming "H" while entering the game. So, you can become Bastion and use your mini-guns to keep the ball on your opponent's half of the court. It completely tarnishes the purpose of the game, but I found it to be a funny bug. Blizzard is aware of the issue.

Jeff Kaplan made a small post on the official Overwatch forums:

Apologies for this bug. We've attempted to fix it numerous times and have had unrelated issues preventing the fix. We hope to have a fix this week.

In the meantime, we are in discussions with our Customer Support group to start taking action against those deliberately using the bug to play heroes other than Lucio.

Please do not exploit this bug. Fair warning.

No clues to exactly what a warning means but I would imagine it's some form of a ban.

Vigilant players have been reporting anyone who exploits the bug, though I believe an outright ban is a bit harsh. It's up to developers to find a workaround once the bug is known. How about disabling the "H" button in Lúcioball—is that even possible?
