Indie RTS/FPS Hybrid Executive Assault 2 Gets A Full FPS Multiplayer Mode

Hesketh Studio’s indie real-time strategy and first-person shooter hybrid Executive Assault 2 now has a pure FPS multiplayer mode for those who’d rather focus on the fighting rather than on strategizing. The feature was previously only available in single-player mode but is now available for players and their friends to enjoy while an AI controls the strategy and tactics from afar.

“Executive Assault 2 is an indie Real Time Strategy/First Person Shooter hybrid set in space, in which you take the reigns of a powerful interstellar corporation as its CEO,working towards gathering resources and materials and dominating rival factions for wealth and tech in a galactic wild west of chaos and lawlessness. But you can also jump into the boots of individual units to take business in your own hands, defending the interests of your corporation against enemy companies with your guns in a frantic FPS experience.”

The developers have also added the highly-requested mini-map feature that should now give players a better idea of where various points of interests, their friends, and their enemies are on the map.
