Upcoming MMO Everywhere Promises To ‘Blur The Line Between Reality And The Digital World’

Another interesting game showcased during Gamescom Opening Night Live parade of trailers was a new sci-fi fantasy MMO called Everywhere. The game is being developed by Build A Rocket Boy, a British studio founded by Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies. The studio recently got an infusion of funds from its Series B funding round earlier this week in partnership with Chinese publisher NetEase and venture capital firm Galaxy Interactive.
Everywhere is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine and promises an experience that “blurs the line between reality and the digital world.”
“Everywhere seamlessly blends gameplay, adventure, creativity and discovery in an all-new multi-world gaming experience that redefines how players connect with one another and with the digital world around them,” touted Build A Rocket Boy.
There’s no word on whether the game will feature some type of blockchain, Web3, NFT, or play-to-earn mechanic, as is usually the case for games looking to blend real life and gaming. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, you can check out the game’s first teaser trailer right down below.
