EverQuest's Progression Server Could Finish in 2023

As EverQuest is pretty well known for their numerous progression servers, it should be no surprise that there is a forum post detailing the latest one. However there is an interesting piece of information listed in the overview.

One of the possible options for the progression server would be half speed, which is the slowest it could go. The original time between the expansions would be cut in half and released on that schedule. According to Daybreak, "this means that it would take 8 years from the time we open the server for it to catch up to where live servers are now." That is quite a commitment for EverQuest players, but definitely good to know that Daybreak plans on keeping the game going for a long time.
