EverQuest Announces Similarly Expensive Expansion CEs

Classic MMORPG, EverQuest, has begun their preorder campaign for their upcoming expansion— The Broken Mirror. Just as with the latest news coming from their sequel, EverQuest 2, The Broken Mirror will be offering equally expensive collectors editions which run for $139.99 USD for the top level. If you're not looking into spending triple digits, you can still buy in with the $34.99 USD Standard Edition which still includes beta access for The Broken Mirror, as well as access to all previous expansions. It has also announced that there will be no level cap increase for this expansion.

As with the EverQuest 2 CEs, players will be granted bonuses such as mounts and mercenaries for spending the big bucks.

The expansion page states that the expansion will arrive on or before December 31st of this year, and you can preorder the game on the official website here.
