EverQuest 2's 17th Expansion: Reign of Shadows Announced
Despite launching all the way back in 2004, EverQuest 2 is still around and regularly releasing expansions. The game announced its 17th expansion this week titled 'Reign of Shadows' and its set to begin beta testing just 2 weeks. Reign of Shadows allows players to explore the dark side of Luclin. Beta and pre-orders begin for Reign of Shadows on November 10, 2020.
The expansion most notably introduces the following new features:
- New Playable Race: Vah Shir (The 1st new playable race in 5 years)
- 20 Reign of Shadows Prestige Advancement Points and 10 new Reign of Shadows Prestige Abilities.
- Maximum Guild Level increased to 350 with an all new content-driven guild leveling mechanism.
- Discover new Adventure, Tradeskill, and Signature quests as you investigate what secrets lay concealed in the endless gloom.
- Master all new Solo, Heroic, Challenge Heroic, and Raid content in the perpetual shade of Luclin’s dark side!
- Total revamp of the Alternative Advancement system (Ever point will have an impact!)
