EverQuest 2: Terrors Of Thalumbra Now Live

Daybreak have announced that EverQuest 2's twelfth expansion, Terrors of Thalumbra, is now live. Players can now travel deep under Norrath, "on the edge of the Plane of the Underfoot," to Thalumbra. "Fabled races and ancient terrors" await players in this new subterranean realm as they work to fight Lanys T'Vyl, the "newly demiresurrected goddess of Malice."

In addition to the new overland zone, this expansion adds Signature Quests, a new class of quests that are for both Adventure and Tradeskill players. New "level agnostic dungeons" have been added, giving players levels 20-95 content that scales to their level. A new infusion system allows players to upgrade their gear like never before.
