EverQuest 2’s Empire Of Antiquity Update Arrives With Two New Raids And A Dungeon

EverQuest 2 gets an injection of new group content as the Empire of Antiquity Update officially goes live in the 20-year-old fantasy MMORPG. The Update opens up the eponymous Buried Takish’Hiz: Empire of Antiquity dungeon and its associated quests, as well as two new raids: Buried Takish’Hiz: Emergence from Stone and Sultan’s Mahala: Daggers Drawn.
“Empire of Antiquity introduces all new, powerful artifacts that can be discovered along with impressive arcanum which you can learn as you investigate the history of the Elddar Empire,” says developer Darkpaw Games. “Along the way, you’ll need to battle some aggressive aspects of Growth while also protecting the Empire from terrors outside and even inside the realm.”
The Update also brings with it a new guild hall, new tradeskill tasks, new collections, and a whole host of new house decorations. It’s apparently a big enough Update that the developers felt that it deserved a new trailer, which you’ll find tucked snugly down below.
