EVE: Valkyrie's First Free Content Update Releases June 20th

The first of what hopefully ends up being many free content updates is coming to EVE: Valkyrie on June 20th. The core of the update is the new three-stage Carrier Assault mode. A new map called Crossroads, a new interface for multiplayer mode selection, match completion bonuses, and a Tactical Menu showing off competing players' names and K/D/A are also included.

The Carrier Assault mode is described as follows.

Until now the enemy’s carrier has been off limits. An impenetrable flying fortress that could cut you down before you even grazed its shields. Now, you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with it! Battering down its defences and carving out a path to deliver the killer blow and put that clone vat out of action in an explosive finale.

The three stages of Carrier Defense are Skirmish, Attack, and Breach. You can find more information about the mode here or you can see it in action in the trailer below.
