Following the launch of the HTC Vive, CCP announced today via Twitter that EVE: Valkyrie's Oculus Rift exclusivity will be coming to an end later this year. You will no longer be forced to buy an Oculus Rift in order to take part in VR dogfights in the EVE universe. Unfortunately, no details were given beyond the fact that Vive support is on the way.

EVE: Valkyrie was an Oculus launch title that was given to Oculus pre-order customers for free. It launched on March 28th, requiring players that didn't pre-order a consumer Oculus Rift to purchase a Founder's Pack to play.
