EVE Echoes Exploration Update And Concord Pass Has Officially Launched After A Short Delay

The EVE Echoes Exploration Update has officially arrived after being delayed by a few short days because of COVID-19. The update introduces new key content to the mobile game, including the new Nihilus Space exploration map, the new Neutrino Resonance Wave exploration tech, a new Nanocore module type, and two brand new space jobs: Nanocore Reverse Engineering and Deadspace Module Reverse Engineering.
“Due to the impact of the epidemic in the city where we work, the dev team will receive nucleic acid testing & work from home,” said CCP Games. “We know all of you (and us) have been extremely excited about the upcoming Exploration update. Unfortunately, due to the increasing lockdown in our area and its effect on development, we had to delay the Exploration update.”
The team has also introduced what appears to be a trial run of a seasonal battle pass system called the CONCORD pass. Track rewards include skill points, rare Thermomagnetic Storm Nanocores, and Nanocore learning materials.
“CONCORD has made the CONCORD Pass available to Capsuleers which will enable research and testing data sharing between both parties. CONCORD will offer corresponding rewards and entitlements. This Pass is still on a trial basis and may be terminated by CONCORD at any time. Should premature termination of the Pass occur, Capsuleers who have been assigned with it will be compensated accordingly. The Pass has a validity period, after which no compensation will be provided by CONCORD.”
More information on the Exploration Update can be found on the EVE Echoes official site. You'll also find the official update trailer below.
