Epic Games Creates VR Documentary Series

Unreal Tournaments development studio Epic Games premiered the first episode of their virtual reality documentary series titled Sense of Presence. The commercial releases of HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are expected to ship Q1 2016, and excitement for the technology is permeating every aspect of digital culture. Unreal Engine 4's creators are spreading the exuberance through mini-films featured on their YouTube channel. As a zealous follower of VR technology—while not having had the privilege of trying one—I'm hopeful that the immersive headsets will transform gaming and ultimately permeate into other mediums such as education and business.
