Embers Adrift’s 2024 Development Roadmap Reveals Priority Features And Updates

Over the past few months, Stormhaven Studios has turned Embers Adrift into a haven for solo players with the addition of solo dungeon loops spanning its entire range of levels, with more coming in the near future according to its 2024 development roadmap.

The roadmap doesn’t offer exact dates or release windows, but categorizes new features and content improvements to solo content, community initiatives like GM events, new encounter tech, and new marketing initiatives to draw more players into the medieval fantasy MMORPG.

Further down the line, the team plans to introduce players to the mysterious misshapen beings called The Others. They also plan to add epic quests, new creatures and bosses, a fishing system, and three new zones in Grizzled Peaks, the Forgotten Depths, and the Dryfoot Fortress.

Long-term plans include equipment categorization, enhanced weather tech, new armor and weapons, crafting improvements, alchemy updates, a mail system, and even more zones. Stormhaven is offering a free trial if you’re still deciding whether it’s worth the $39.99 box price. The studio also teased a big announcement coming on April 1.
