Embers Adrift Invites Players To Break The Game In Its World Breaker Event
Embers Adrift developer Stormhaven Studios is looking for players to help break the game’s servers at the end of the month. The aptly-named World Breaker event will kick off on Saturday, April 30th at 8:00am PDT and will be available to all current beta testers and a select number of players who sign up for the event.
Event participants will be granted the World Breaker title and will be rewarded with the exclusive Ember Inlaid Sword which can be claimed on launch day.
Meanwhile, the team showed off an hour’s worth of gameplay footage during their weekly livestream which gave the community a quick peek at character creation, various abilities, and the game world, as well as a glimpse into one of the game’s dungeons. They also touched on class gameplay and the game’s subscription-based business model.
Stormhaven also released a new beta patch last week that revamped crafting and gathering with simpler, tier-based mechanics and introduced an extensive list of bug fixes. You can browse through the full patch notes on the Embers Adrift official forums.
